These Terms of Service govern your use of ScamSafe (scamsafe.in). Made in India. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

ScamSafe provides:

• A free scan of your phone number and email
• Sign-in with an OTP
• Deletion requests sent to companies in your name, on a paid plan
• Tracking of every reply, with follow-ups when a company goes quiet

By verifying your phone number and email with an OTP, you:

• Confirm the phone number and email are yours
• Allow ScamSafe to run the scan you asked for
• Agree to receive OTP messages

By paying for a plan, you allow ScamSafe to send deletion requests in your name to the companies on your list. The free plan is the scan only and sends no requests. Requests include only your email and phone number.

The scan is free and needs no payment. Results show companies that may hold your data.

Paid plans are available monthly or yearly. Monthly plans renew by auto-pay (UPI or card) and can be cancelled anytime. If you cancel, we show it as pending until the payment provider confirms the auto-pay has stopped. Yearly plans are one payment for 12 months. The price is shown before you pay.

Refunds: monthly plans get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of payment. Yearly plans get a full refund within 7 days of payment if no scan has been run. See the Refund Policy.

We send requests and follow up on a best-efforts basis. We can't guarantee that any company will delete your data, or how long it will take. When a company says it has deleted your data, we show you its reply; we can't check inside its systems.

The DPDP Act, 2023 is being implemented in stages. Its deletion and complaint sections (sections 11–17) are scheduled to start on 13 May 2027, and until then we don't claim any legal deadline or penalty. See the DPDP Act page.

ScamSafe is not liable for:

• A recipient declining, delaying or not acting on a privacy/removal request
• Delays in third-party privacy or account processes
• Data reappearances from new collection, sharing or sources after a prior removal
• Any damages arising from data exposure prior to using our service

All content, code, and branding on scamsafe.in is owned by ScamSafe. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
