Yes. Nothing renews on its own. A monthly plan covers 30 days and a yearly plan covers 12 months, and you choose whether to pay again, on the same plan or a different one.
Some may. Your request carries your email and mobile number, so a company may reply by email or call to confirm it. ScamSafe never asks for an OTP or payment details. If anyone does, do not share them.
Yes. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 lets you ask a company to delete your personal data. We write and send that request in your name, with your permission. Parts of the Act are being brought in in stages.
No. We never ask banks, NBFCs, insurers or stockbrokers to delete anything. They only get a letter asking them to stop marketing, and your accounts stay as they are. For bank and telecom calls, also register on DND by calling or sending an SMS to 1909.
